Remember:
It's always the right time to redefine some things in your life; rearrange the people who surround you; recreate some meaning to your actions; realign your mind and your heart; readjust the habits that you've formed; reclaim the passions you've neglected and most importantly realize your worth in this world.
A quarter life crisis occurs somewhere between the late-late teens and the early thirties. It's during the time when simultaneously everything is ever-changing, options seem endless and time is just flying by. These are the years when you are adjusting to becoming an adult and everything it entails, such as responsibility, independence (especially financially) and becoming an active, dynamic member of society. These are the years when you discover your sense of individuality at an ultimate level and learn things about yourself that you may or may not like. These are the years when you aren't surrounded by the same people or interact with the same friends and you lose touch with people naturally or realize that some of your "friendships" just aren't worth it anymore. These are the years when finding a job is scary because you either find something you never thought you'd be doing or realize that you are going to have to start as a nobody to get to where you want to be. These are the years you develop stronger opinions on, well, everything and realize that what you used to do isn't acceptable anymore, or what you never did is an integral part of your life now - like drinking coffee everyday. These are the years where you learn to question everything and anything, especially yourself and your capabilities. These are the years where your dreams and goals are tangled up, far away and sometimes even lost.
But when you DO (and you will) find clarity, or at least a sense of a direction, or have even one person who can relate or help you carry your weight, or even when you feel confident enough to say to yourself "listen here, hot shot, you ARE capable and deserving" then it makes everything more bearable and a little bit easier.
A quarter life crisis is like looking for that ONE thing in such a familiar room. You think you know where everything is, after all, you've walked in and out of this room a million times before. But somehow after you turn it upside down and inside out, you feel helpless and like you never really knew the room in the first place...Eventually, you will find that one thing. And when you do, it's going to be incredible.
